Great for families with kids. Solid Mexican food!

Great place to visit. We were very hungry after our day at estes park and we picked this spot obviously for the mexican food. The food was great. I tried chimachinga for the first time it tasted great. Didnt like it when I ordered the same in the other mexican restaurants. Bean paste is perfect! I recommend this place to everyone.

Friendly. Clean. Food was good. Great environment. I definitely would recommend this place to friends. I loved the chairs they are nicely painted. The bathroom is clean. They didn't rush us to eat even when we got there as late as we did. Thanks!

Great food! Good prices and friendly staff

The service was fast and friendly. I meant to order a chili reno but ordered a chili reno burrito by accident. I was pleasantly surprised. The chili reno was crispy like I like it, and the refried beans were smooth and moist. They lost a star for way too much sauce and their salsa which tasted more like the tomato sauce salsa that seems to pass as salsa here in Colorado. Another star was lost for the atmosphere. This review done by a former Texan who loves Tex-mex. Papasitos and On The Boarder are my favorites for comparison.

Best Mexican Restaraunt EVER!When I acme here for the first time,I LOVED it.The food is great,the waiters are nice,and it's awesome overall.This will be a good Restaraunt forever to me.This place is kid friendly,has great food,and I definitely recommend eating her with your family and friends.

Been here several times, never been disappointed. Food & drinks are delicious & fair priced. Staff is very friendly but still professional. Theres an outdoor sitting area by a large tree to give plenty of shade for everyone. Conveniently located right across the street from a nice little spot to go in the river & get your feet wet. Enjoy! 😁

The food is a joke. The meat is frozen, not fresh, the queso comes in a soupy mush I would not feed to my kids. The tortillas are like mission tortillas, come out tasting like lemon juice due to keep them fresh longer. The service is sub par and prices are way over priced for frozen food. Will never be back here again and suggest others to avoid.My kids chicken fingers taste of freezer burn, they didn't eat, the fries taste like they were microwaved. My wife's enchiladas were soupy, and tortillas soggy. Sisters and my beef/chicken flautas came out as street tacos? This was really what did it in. How do you mistake street tacos for flautas? The beef was horrendous, frozen, tasted like cammed meat possibly, same with sisters chicken. This place is a joke and don't waste your money for less than sub par food I wouldn't feed to my dog.

Waited 30m for drinks and Guacamole at the table, and no it wasn't busy at all. The meat was stringy extremely chewy& unidentifiable, rice I bet was a day or two old. I wouldn't recommend

We love to go here in Lyons. The girls love the decorations on the wall next to the booths. The staff treats us like family. Margaritas are always tasty. Food is well prepared. I can not speak to It's authenticity as am American, but we enjoy the taste. When I order a beef chimi extra crunchy it comes out perfect.

Got a steak quesadilla, carnitas plate, shredded beef nachos, and fried ice cream. The quality isn’t that great for the price. The food wasn’t as fresh as we would like. It was ok for the serving size. The only thing I 100% recommend is the fried ice cream! That was delicious 😋❤️ They also gave us complementary chips with salsa which was nice.

Where to start with La Mariposa. To start off with, the staff was friendly and the service was great. Sadly it all went down hill after that. I ordered a supreme burrito with carnitas. The carnitas were overcooked, bland, chewy and I found several sizable bone chunks. The cheesy sauce was almost flavorless. All in all, I would have preferred a taco bell burrito.

We have been to this restaurant twice in the past several months. It is great food, with generous portions and a fun atmosphere! We will be back soon!

Got our food very fast and was reasonably priced! Greatest part is the service... they treat everyone like family here. Definitely a must if you are in the area!

Food was marginal but the green chile was tasteless and runny- the worst I’ve ever had.

Such yummy Mexican food! Love the queso for appetizer and ALWAYS get caramel fried ice cream for dessert.

If there was an option for a no star I'd totally do it. Ate here and some of the food we got was disgusting and cold. Our service was terrible, we let them know of what could be worked on. And the server Blanca was completely rude about it. Took the card very rudely from the cardholders hand, then came back and slammed the card holder on the table very rudely. People were eating while in the back cooking. Service and food over all was terrible and I'll never be back here again.

It was a great experience. Waiter was awesome. Food was fresh tasting. We will go back when were in the area in the future.

Terrible service. We waited 20 mins for our drinks to be served. She forgot to put our order in. And people who came in after us were served their complicated dishes before us. The food is good. However, due to how terrible the service was, it's not worth eating out.

Five stars. Good food, nice people. Sometimes they make mistakes and thats ok, its a tough business to be in and I've been there.

Great food and atmosphere

Service was excellent. Seated promptly, friendly and efficient. We ordered #1 lunch special. It was terrible. Soggy, unusual flavors, just aweful. We ate it anyway, but we just wished we would have walked away and stuck with eating the chips and salsa, they were really good.

Literally gave me a plate full of liquid with a burrito in the middle. Did not taste impressive at all and cost me a lot for cheap Mexican. Would not recommend.
